(From left to right): Cai Chau, Mirabelle Petit, and Priscilla Pounds

GRiL has been running operations since 1950. In all that time, no three-woman team has logged more high-profile missions, survived more impossible situations, or caused more damage to B's blood pressure than the trio deployed during Operation Sail Barge in August 2018: Priscilla Pounds, Mirabelle Petit, and Cai Chau.

    Priscilla Pounds

Priscilla is twenty-one, Slovenian, and technically still a student at the University of London. She has dark hair, piercing blue eyes, and an athletic build dominated by a chest so immense that her campus wardrobe revolves around a blue cardigan held together by a single miraculous button. She carries her phone in her cleavage. She wears a navy blue GRiL jumpsuit. She is the emotional center of her team: warm, loyal, and perpetually worried about her friends in a way that somehow never slows her down when it's time to act.

Her double life is a constant source of stress. On campus she's a normal university student, navigating lectures and a relationship with her girlfriend Stephanie, and inventing increasingly implausible excuses for why she disappears for days at a time. Underground, she's a field agent who single-handedly deactivated a nuclear device in the Atlantic Ocean during her team's very first deployment. She was stranded at sea for two days afterward. She managed.

Priscilla gravitates naturally toward leadership. She thinks fast under pressure, she fights with determination rather than finesse, and she has a ritual that marks the transition between her two lives: changing into a navy blue bra and matching underwear before every mission. It sounds small. It grounds her completely.

    Mirabelle Petit

Mirabelle is twenty-six, French, and the oldest member of the trio by enough years that she carries her seniority as responsibility rather than authority. She's in her final year at the Sorbonne, she speaks with a thick French accent, and she wears a green GRiL jumpsuit. She is stunning in a way that she herself finds less interesting than whatever engineering problem she's currently solving.

Mirabelle is the strategist. She's the one who calculates angles of approach while Priscilla is still processing the emotional stakes and Chau is already halfway through the ventilation shaft. She designed the TITS Mk II, GRiL's supersonic jet, and she takes personal offense when Chau handles the controls roughly. She refuses to crawl through vents on principle. She loves gourmet French cuisine with an intensity that her teammates find both admirable and exhausting.

Beneath the composure is fierce loyalty. Mirabelle doesn't express affection through words as easily as Priscilla does, but when Chelsea Hannigan attacked the EDN fashion show and started inflating every model in the building, Mirabelle didn't hesitate. She and her girlfriend Laila Kandola shut the whole thing down, and Mirabelle walked out with her suit intact and her hair still perfect. That's the kind of agent she is.

    Cai Chau

Chau is nineteen, Vietnamese, and proof that being the youngest and shortest member of a team means absolutely nothing when you've written half the agency's manual on electronic infiltration. She's a self-taught technological prodigy whose hacking skills attracted GRiL's attention before she was old enough to drive. She wears a black latex jumpsuit customized with gadgets, she carries bubble tea on active missions, and she narrates her own actions out loud when she gets excited.

She is also, by a comfortable margin, the most physically conspicuous member of the trio, carrying the largest chest of the three on the smallest frame. She leans into this with cheerful practicality, treating it as one more thing to work around, like a stubborn firewall or a cockpit that wasn't designed for someone built like her.

Chau is the team's certified pilot of the TITS Mk II, and she treats the cockpit like a personal playground. Her first villain encounter was Dolores Middleton, a gorgeous woman with a brilliant mind and an unshakeable hatred of fish. Since then, Chau has faced Isadora Cruz's pregnancy device (which left her carrying triplets), gone undercover as one of Isadora's enforcers, manipulated a tech billionaire into revealing the cure for his own weapon, and transitioned into a more hands-off operational role following motherhood, running command from temporary field posts while remaining fiercely protective of her teammates.

    What Makes Them Work

The trio's dynamic is the engine of the GRiL Universe's storytelling. Priscilla leads with her heart, Mirabelle leads with her head, and Chau leads with whatever gadget she's built in the last forty-eight hours. They bicker, they cover for each other, they have the kind of shorthand that only comes from having been shot at together repeatedly. Their friendship is the thing that makes the absurdity land, because you believe these three people care about each other, the stakes feel real even when the villain's master plan involves weaponized pregnancy.

Their first deployment, Operation Sail Barge, threw them at a nuclear device in the Atlantic. Their most significant campaign, the Isadora Cruz affair, cost Chau her freedom from motherhood and put all three of them through the most physically and emotionally demanding mission GRiL had run in decades. Their latest operations have taken them from Mediterranean mansions to Tokyo skyscrapers, each one stretching the team in new directions. Priscilla is growing into a leader. Mirabelle is deepening as a partner and a strategist. Chau is figuring out how to be both a mother and an agent, and refusing to choose.

They're twenty-six, twenty-one, and nineteen. They've already saved the world more than once. They're just getting started.
