Adoptable Characters by ohshinakai
Every adoptable is a one-of-a-kind original character: designed once, sold once, and never made available again. When you claim an adoptable, the character is yours. Rename them, rewrite their backstory, use them in your own projects. They belong to you.
Each adoptable comes with 7 high-resolution images in PNG format, a written backstory with world-origin lore, and full commercial use rights. Characters span the Fantastiska, Aldermark, Blue Revere, GRiL Universe, Empyrea, and Elfdalia settings, from high fantasy warriors and baroque priestesses to retrofuturistic space operatives and urban elven socialites.
All adoptables are released and claimed exclusively on DeviantArt. When you purchase an adoptable, your username is displayed as the owner on the deviation page and across every feature where it appears on the platform.

What You Receive
Every adoptable includes a downloadable zip file containing the full image set and backstory document. The contents:
- 7 high-resolution images (PNG, 3000px+)
- Written character backstory (2–3 pages of worldbuilding lore, personality, and background)
- Full commercial use rights: use the character in your own stories, art, games, or projects
- Ownership displayed on DeviantArt
How Claiming Works
Adoptables go live on a scheduled date and time, announced in advance on this site and on DeviantArt. Claiming is first-come, first-serve: the first valid purchase on DeviantArt secures the character. Once claimed, the adoptable is permanently retired.
Drop schedules are announced on the news page and via the site newsletter. Commissioner and Worldbuilder tier members receive drop previews with full backstories 48 hours before public release.
Pricing
Adoptable pricing varies by character complexity, image count, and whether a Booster Pack is included. Typical range:
- Standard adoptable (7 images + backstory): $50–$150
- Premium adoptable with Booster Pack (7 images + 12 bonus images + backstory): $200
Prices are set per character and listed on each DeviantArt deviation.
After You Claim
The character is fully yours. You can rename them, rewrite their backstory, modify their design, or keep everything as-is. There are no restrictions on personal or commercial use.
Adoptable buyers also receive a commission discount code (30–50% off) valid for approximately 14 days after purchase. The code can be used toward a custom commission of your adopted character, such as booster packs (12 additional images for your adoptable), NSFW sets (4-pack explicit images) or any other commission type.
Worlds & Character Types
Adoptables span every ohshinakai universe. Recent and upcoming drops have featured:
- Fantastiska: Busty warriors, voluptuous sorceresses, goblin knights, baroque court nobles, draconic bodyguards, demon priestesses, faerie tricksters, and wandering witches
- Aldermark: Busty elves, Frejya-devoted priestesses, nightclub singers, social media personalities, and Victorian-era socialites
- Blue Revere: Drift station engineers, fleet pilots, busty space girls, retrofuturistic socialites, planetary scientists, and space station crew
- GRiL Universe: Field operatives, agency scientists, busty spies, covert specialists, and undercover agents
- Empyrea: Celestial warriors, fallen angels, and divine messengers
- Elfdalia: Elves with gigantic breasts, elven scholars, elven warriors, elven wizards, and regional diplomats
Early Access for Members
Commissioner ($50/month) and Worldbuilder ($125/month) tier members receive full adoptable previews, including backstories and all images, 48 hours before public release. Early access claims are first-come, first-serve within the tier. If an adoptable is claimed during early access, it will not be available during the public drop.

Can I change the name or design after claiming?
Yes. The character is fully yours. Name, backstory, appearance, and any other details are yours to modify however you like.
