Awanputri is the current Sky Princess of Palangi Sari, the island kingdom of the Bidadari in the Bravonian Ocean. She is one in a long line of Sky Princesses stretching back to c. 3950 BFE, each chosen by the Bayangan Council as the living emissary of Ma̅rziah the Merciful Goddess. She rules from the capital Awanputra on the slopes of the Bulanara Mountains, governing with spiritual authority while the Bayangan Council handles practical policy.

She has the divine Bidadari traits of luminous white skin, glowing golden eyes, flowing white hair, and a golden halo. Ma̅rziah's blessing gives her an exceptionally voluptuous figure. She wears white silk robes, golden pauldrons, a golden crown, and extensive jewelry.

Her governance style is compassion-as-statecraft: patient listening, open audiences for all petitioners, and a firmness that looks like gentleness from a distance but carries real weight up close. She communes daily with the dreaming spirit of the Cloud King (the mythic husband of the first Sky Princess), which maintains harmony over the archipelago's weather. She belongs to no single Rasi but tends the bonds of all of them, making her either the most connected or the loneliest figure in Bidadari society.
