Appearance

Maren Holt is five foot six, with light brownish skin and white hair worn in a neat bun, a style she has maintained so long it has ceased to be a choice and become simply what she looks like. Her build is curvy and voluptuous, carried with the unhurried ease of someone who has never found it worth commenting on. Her eyes are warm amber, still sharp. She dresses in traditional imperial court robes: structured, formal, in the understated colours the household favoured. This is partly habit accumulated across fifty years of daily service, and partly something simpler: she is most comfortable in them, and at 116 she has earned the right to wear what she pleases. She is not unremarkable in any room she enters.

First Impression

She has been in the room for more history than most people's textbooks contain. She will not bring this up. You will not be able to stop thinking about it. Maren is warm, unhurried, and faintly amused by most things, and then she mentions, in passing, that she was there when the treaty was signed, and the conversation does not quite recover its footing after that.
