Brydie is a Seraphim celestial and one of the Twenty-One Angels of Virtues, appointed to the domain of Justice under the Divine Hierarchy established by Eo, the Lady of Light. As a Seraphim, she was shaped by her race's deepest values: patience, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to order and harmony. However, her specific calling pushed her beyond mediation and into judgment. Where other Seraphim seek balance between competing truths, Brydie determines what actually occurred and ensures that what follows from it is fair.

She lived through the Aeon of Ignorance, the great celestial conflict between the Seraphim, Archons, and Zabaniyah, and that prolonged war left a permanent mark on her understanding of justice. She watched systems of power bend to serve those who held it. She witnessed discrimination dressed as divine order, and grievances left deliberately unaddressed until they became invisible.

When Eo established the Divine Hierarchy and brought the Aeon of Ignorance to its close, Brydie was appointed the thirteenth of the Twenty-One Virtues. Her golden sword, which glows in the presence of corruption and cannot be deceived by argument or justification. The weapon came with the appointment, a physical extension of her celestial function rather than a weapon she chose.

Brydie served closely alongside Mandalay and the Seraphim Powers through the Zabaniyah Apostasy and Ialdabaoth's Rebellion, and that conflict deepened her suspicion of any philosophy that conflates strength with righteousness. She does not deny the Zabaniyah's ferocity or their dedication. She simply believes they have confused the instrument of justice with its purpose, and she has not forgotten what that confusion cost Empyrea.

Her ability to sense injustice across both Empyrea and Duniya simultaneously means she has never truly been at rest since her appointment. She perceives it all, continuously, and responds to it not with rage but with the steady, unhurried precision and centuries of accumulated experience that clarity matters more than speed.
