Snikkles is a 41-year-old goblin huntress who lives alone in a cave high in the Sylvanoran Mountains, above the tree line where the rock turns to pale granite. Born in Mudpoint, the smallest Blackpick Union settlement, she spent her childhood squeezing into narrow mine shafts as a tunnel scout. At fifteen, she was part of a crew sent into an unstable deep bore. She came out alone. She didn't speak for three days. On the fourth day she walked out of Mudpoint and never came back. The Union logged her as a desertion.

She walked away from towns, people, and tunnels, and nearly died her first winter in the mountains. Over twenty-six years she taught herself to hunt by observation, built her own tools, and learned the high passes the way a mine-goblin learns a tunnel: by memorizing every danger.

She bleaches her clothes white with wood-ash lye so she blends into the pale stone. She hunts small game with a short spear, trades with no one, and avoids all contact: be it Verdanians, Lumindalians, and Sylvanorans alike. Rangers have spotted her at distance. Shepherds have found her snare lines. No one has gotten close.
